Symbolism: Arms-Nurturing, caring: beginning in our closest relationships – at home: Purple- The liturgical color for our seasons of preparation and reflection (Advent, Lent); FOCUS: “Making God present in our everyday lives”

Home Devotional Site:

Provisions for:

  • Prayers for the home
  • Seasonal liturgies and tools (i.e. Advent wreaths, Lenten disciplines for the home)
  • Ideas for spiritual formation within the family (i.e. community service opportunities)
  • "Faith Chest” for each youth at baptism.

The Faith Chest is a chest container supplied with a candle holder for the Baptismal candle, a votive candle, a worship cloth, a copy of “The Blessing Cup” (a book of home liturgies), a goblet (a blessing cup), a lullaby CD, and special prayers. Each item is presented by a representative of the presenting groups.

Family Nights - Quarterly: 3rd Saturday of the Month

A night of fun, a meal, fellowship, spiritual formation

Next Evening: July 20 - 5:30-7:00 pm  POOL PARTY / Site to be determined
