All are welcome to attend.  Come and enjoy the fellowship and good food.

1st Sunday breakfast speaker:  Brenda Hook from the Good Samaritan Clinic will be a featured speaker at our 1st Sunday breakfast on March 7.  This is your chance to come and hear what wonderful things the Clinic is doing.

 


FAMILY NIGHTS:  March 12 – 6:00—7:30 pm (3RD Friday of EACH month)  – Adults at the Skinner Building, pot-luck dinner.  Children:  separate meal provided and program/education building.

 


Young Adult Ministry:

Mark Your Calendar...

Kick off 2010 with our new monthly gathering, Young Adult 3D- dinner, drinks, & discussion! We'll be using the Spirit edition of Table Topics to spark discussion at the dinner table, and will end the evening with Compline. Dinner will be potluck, with this month's theme being Italian. We'll meet in the Skinner Building on Saturday, Mar. 13 at 7pm- hope to see all young adults, 18-30s, there! Contact Molly at molly.stitsworth@gmail.com or 462-6155 to RSVP.

 


2nd Sunday Service – March 14, 5:00 pm using guitar/keyboard music followed by St. Patrick’s Party in the Parish Hall, more information below.  Come as you are.  Ideal for families. Childcare provided.  Meal details listed below.


The laymen will be hosting a St. Patrick's Party on Sunday, March 14th. The Second Sunday Holy Eucharist service will be held at 5 o'clock, with The Reverend Kevin Robinson officiating. After this service, dinner will be served, consisting of corned beef, boiled potatoes, and boiled cabbage. We plan to have a sing-a-long of familiar Irish songs after the meal.

 

 A donation of $7.00 is suggested for adults. Children 6 through12 are half price. Children under 6 eat free.  Come and enjoy the festivities. Wear something green.

 


 "Saints Alive" will not gather in March; Instead, we are encouraging everyone to

participate in the St. Patrick's Day dinner at the church. We can be supportive and also have a fun time together.  The April "Saints Alive" will be at David and Janee Crotts'.  More details to come.    

 


SAHMs (Stay At Home Moms) -  Tuesday, March 16 from 10:30—noon at the Skinner Building, Youth Room. 

 


Annual Easter Altar Guild clean-up will be held on Saturday, March 27th at 9:00am.  If all of us attend, it shouldn't take more than two hours. I look forward to seeing you then. Lee

 


Baptism is a traditional part of our Easter Vigil:  The Easter Vigil is Saturday, April 7 at 7:00 p.m.  If you or a family member would like to be baptized.   Some instruction is required.  Please let us know immediately.  Call the church office at 782-9912.

 


Girl’s Night Out:  We will NOT meet during Lent or Holy Week.  Our next meeting will be in April.

Outreach:

Don’t forget to pick up something for the backpack program.  For March they are requesting individual boxes of raisins.  Donations of any of the products on the list are always welcome.  See the bulletin board in the Parish Hall for a complete list. 


 Easter Flower Offering (Easter is April 4):  If you would like to contribute toward the Easter Flowers, please place your check marked “Easter Flowers” in the alms basin or leave it in the office. Please provide the names of those you would like to memorialize or honor on the cut out list in the Holy Babble.  Deadline for submitting names is March 26.


Tuesday Healing PrayersHealing Prayers will continue at 12:15 each Tuesday.  Prayers include specific prayers for our intercessory list and laying on of hands for participants.

 


Sunday Morning Christian Ed: 

  • Children’s Chapel offered DURING “Liturgy of the Word” portion of the 10:30 service. 
  • Adult Bible Study – 9:15 a.m. led by Steve Kilpatrick.
  • Christian Ed class at 9:15 Sunday mornings that is currently studying the Book of Common Prayer. No books are needed other than the prayer book which can be provided.
